Dear parents, community members, and friends of Evans Elementary School, make plans now to be a part of Teach-In on Tuesday, November 18. We are looking for community leaders to teach at least one class in this community-wide effort. What does it mean to “Teach for a Day”? SCPS invites you to teach our students through life experiences and opening doors! Share about your job, travel and cultural experiences, or a hobby.

Teach-In is a perfect opportunity for parents, business leaders and community members to let students know we care about them. It is simple – join us on Tuesday, November 18 and teach a class or two – whatever your schedule permits. 

Teach-In highlights the importance of bringing together teachers, school staff, parents, students, and communities in a unified effort to build great public schools.  Simply fill out the Google Registration Form or call my office at 407-320-9805 on weekdays, during the hours of 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.  To register for Teach-In 2025 please use this link:
