Principal's Message

Welcome to the Home of the Sunrays, Evans Elementary!  

We are delighted that you are visiting our website and hope it provides you with a glimpse into the exceptional learning community we have built together. At Evans Elementary, our dedicated teachers and staff are committed to inspiring every student to achieve their highest potential by fostering the knowledge, skills, and character needed to become confident, compassionate, and productive citizens.

It is truly an honor to serve as the Principal of Evans Elementary. I bring 29 years of experience in education, including 23 years as a school administrator in Seminole County Public Schools. During that time, I served for 21 years as an assistant principal and principal, followed by two years as an ESE Area Administrator for Student Support Services. Before becoming an administrator, I had the privilege of teaching both second and fifth grade. Returning to the school setting and working alongside our incredible staff, outstanding students, and supportive families is both exciting and rewarding.

Evans Elementary is a high-performing school where we believe every child can succeed and every adult plays an important role in that success. Together, we strive to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where students are challenged, supported, and encouraged to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

We value the strong partnerships we share with our families and community. I encourage you to become actively involved by joining our PTA, participating in our School Advisory Council, and taking part in the many opportunities that make Evans Elementary such a special place. Your involvement helps strengthen our school community and enriches the educational experience for all of our students.
